Questions
Can't find what you need? Email support@sabrsoftware.com and a person answers. Sources: ClinicalTrials.gov, the U.S. National Library of Medicine's trial registry.
Where does the data come from?
ClinicalTrials.gov, the public registry run by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Sponsors must register most trials there, and it publishes new studies every weekday.
What counts as new?
A study first posted on ClinicalTrials.gov that's not yet recruiting, recruiting or enrolling by invitation when we first see it. Studies registered after they finished are left out.
What are “new sites”?
Every week we compare the site list of every active industry-sponsored trial with the week before. A trial that lists a city it didn't list last week comes through with the new sites.
How is the therapeutic area chosen?
From ClinicalTrials.gov's own MeSH coding of each study's conditions, grouped into top-level disease areas. About a third of new studies aren't coded yet; for those we match the condition names, and healthy-volunteer studies have their own area.
Do you include investigators' or contacts' names?
No. We never download investigator, study contact or site contact names, emails or phone numbers. You get the sponsor, collaborators and each site's facility name and location.
How many trials will I get?
About 133 industry-sponsored trials are posted worldwide each week; about 41 of them list a US site when first posted.
Is there anything about patients?
No. ClinicalTrials.gov describes trials, sponsors and sites, never the people taking part. This is for business-to-business marketing and research.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, from the link in every email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for.
